7,000 names

7,000 names, 7000 people, 7000 families.

Every day on our journey across both the UK and America we read the names of 110 people that have died since the fighting commenced following 9/11.

It will take the period from late April to Early July to complete the list.  By which time there will be more names that will need to be read in the same way.

Last week we were in the town of Clarksville, Tennessee at the invitation of our sponsor First Command, it was here that we held the ceremony at the premises of the company.

Sixty people were able to join us for the reading, this included a number of serving soldiers as well as the relatives and wives of men killed recently in the conflicts.

For the blog today I would like to share some of the images from that evening.
